Safi Solutions ("Safi Solutions," "we," "us") is a web and app development studio based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through safisolutions.ca (the "Site"), how we use it, and your choices.

Information you give us

• Contact form: your name, email address, and anything you include in your message.
• Newsletter: your email address (and name, if provided) when you subscribe.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. This may include pages visited, time on page, referring site, approximate location (city or region), browser, and device type. We use this in aggregate and do not use it to identify you personally.
• Cookies: the Site uses cookies set by Webflow, our hosting platform, which are needed for the Site to work, along with cookies set by our analytics tool. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site will still work, though analytics will not count your visit.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiries and discuss potential projects.
• To send you our newsletter, if you subscribed.
• To understand and improve the Site.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Newsletter and consent

We only send newsletters to people who have opted in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us. We follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site and business:

• Webflow (website hosting and form submissions)
• Our email provider (for replying to messages)

These providers may store and process information outside of Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws and accessible to authorities there. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

• Contact messages: as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record keeping, then deleted.
• Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics data: according to the retention settings of our analytics tool.

How we protect it

We use reputable, secure service providers and limit access to your information to what is needed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your rights

Under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's PIPEDA, you can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use (for example, unsubscribing). To make a request, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
