Aflak Media was founded by friends building on existing freelance work in the creative industry. The challenge was consolidating scattered portfolio pieces, event coverage, and filmography into one cohesive digital presence that demonstrated their collective credibility. With a partner who already had an established client base and body of work, the goal was creating a professional home for showcasing completed projects while positioning the new company as a unified production studio rather than individual freelancers.
We built the site on Webflow with custom code to reflect their creative ambition and media production focus. The design featured a bold, cinematic aesthetic with heavy emphasis on visual portfolio pieces including filmography reels, event photography from occasions like the BC Halal Food Festival, and professional headshots. We highlighted their mission to amplify voices and push production standards through compelling hero messaging and a clean gallery-first layout. The name Aflak, meaning guide for travelers, informed the navigation metaphor throughout the experience.
The v1 site successfully consolidated fragmented freelance work into a unified studio identity. Clients encountered a polished brand presence that brought all past projects under one roof, making it easy to browse filmography, event coverage, and photography. While the company has since evolved beyond this version, the site remains accessible as a functional archive documenting their early growth phase and the foundational work completed together.
